Forest Enterprises expects to harvest a million tonnes from the forest estate we manage in the Hawkes Bay.
We manage 1,289 hectares of radiata pine forest in Hawkes Bay region (four forestry investments), representing approximately 7% of our total estate under management.
These are our youngest forest investments and their harvest is a few years away from commencement. 90% of these Hawkes Bay forests were established in 1996, and will therefore be ready for harvest around 2024 at age 28.
