This year, despite the disruption caused by the Covid-19 challenges we all face, we’ve made remarkable progress on our aim to become certified for responsible forest management. We thank Malte Coulmann, our Southern North Island Regional Manager, and Hannah Harvey, our Environmental & Risk Manager for all their hard work on this.
The international environmental certification ensures that sustainable products come from responsibly managed forests; while providing environmental, social and economic benefits. We manage our forests to maximise returns to investors while proudly ensuring the environment is protected, we look after our workers’ and contractors’ health & safety, and we meet global standards. We thank our investors for their support in helping us achieve these goals.
Please note our offices are now closed and we return in the new year on Monday 10 January.
Best wishes for the holiday season from us all at Forest Enterprises.
